How to make ordinary rice cooker cake

Home-cooked meals are meant to give people the taste of home. Ordinary rice cooker cake is a dish that is full of home-style flavor. The method is simple but not perfunctory. The steaming hot dishes are served on the table, and the family sits together to enjoy the dishes. This is the taste of home. There is constant laughter at the table, and there is no greater taste of happiness than this.

1. Prepare the necessary materials.

2. Put the egg whites and egg yolks in two oil-free and water-free bowls respectively. Beat the egg whites with a whisk first. Beat until there are large bubbles (fish-eye bubbles), then add a spoonful of sugar (you can use a rice spoon at home).

3. Add a spoonful of sugar when the dough becomes textured.

4. If the whisk is at a right angle when you lift it up, it means the eggs are well beaten.

5. Add two spoons of sugar to the egg yolk, add yogurt and mix well with a hand whisk.

6. Sift the low-gluten flour into the egg yolks, stir in a cross pattern, and do not stir in circles.

7. Add one third of meringue and stir up and down with a silicone knife to mix well. (Preheat the rice cooker at this time)

8. Add the remaining two-thirds of the meringue into the egg yolk paste and stir evenly by flipping it up and down as before.

9. Add condensed milk and stir evenly.

10. Brush a layer of oil on the inner wall of the rice cooker, pour the cake batter in and smooth the surface.

11. Press the cook button, and it will automatically jump to the keep warm button in one minute. Press the cook button again after five minutes (the time depends on the temperament of your rice cooker, as long as you can press the cook button again), repeat this step four times. When it jumps to the keep warm button for the last time, block the exhaust hole of the rice cooker with a cloth and simmer for ten minutes.

12. When the time is up, take out the cake and place it on a bamboo rack that can dissipate heat (I don’t have a dedicated cooling rack at home).

13. The internal structure is pretty good and it tastes very soft.

14. Since there are no special knives for cutting cakes, just tear them apart and eat them!
