How to cook braised shrimp

It is a very happy thing to see prawns on the table. There are many ways to cook prawns, among which stewed shrimps can be said to be the most commonly used method. Moreover, stewed shrimp is a dish that does not require much technical skills, and normal people can make stewed shrimp at home. If you don’t like the taste of braised shrimps made outside, you can learn how to make braised shrimps at home.

Ingredients:

8 large prawns (you can have more if you like)

Potatoes 500g (can be more or less)

200g carrots (depending on your preference)

200g celery (mainly for meat and vegetable combination, incompatible food

4 shiitake mushrooms (use white ones)

Onion, ginger and garlic

Dried chili peppers 2 foods

20-30 peppercorns (depending on your preference for numbing flavor)

2 spoons of Lao Gan Ma hot sauce

Salt, sugar, soy sauce, pepper, oyster sauce

Recipe method:

1. Wash the prawns, remove the sand lines, and dry them.

2. Dice carrots, potatoes and mushrooms (cut into small pieces so they are easier to cook and absorb flavor) and set aside.

3. Wash the celery, cut into sections and set aside.

4. Cut the dried chili into sections and set aside.

5. Chop the onion, ginger and garlic and set aside.

6. Next, start cooking. 1. Put a small amount of oil in the pot (I don’t like too much oil, so I put less, you can put it according to your usual habits), turn on the fire and heat it. 2 Add onion, ginger, garlic, dried chili peppers and Sichuan peppercorns and stir-fry until fragrant. Then add 2 spoons of Lao Gan Ma chili sauce and stir-fry. When the color and aroma are all good, add the prawns and pour in appropriate amount of cooking wine and pepper powder. 3 When the shrimps turn red, add potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, light soy sauce, oyster sauce and a small amount of water. Because light soy sauce, hot sauce, and oyster sauce are all salty, you should add less salt now and taste it later to see if you need to add more salt. 4 Stir-fry until well mixed, then cover the pot and simmer over low heat. Stir-fry and check halfway through. Taste the potatoes and carrots. When they are cooked, add the celery and cover for one minute. 5 Finally, remove from the pan, shape the shrimp, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and you’re done!
