How to make mixed vegetable platter

The preparation of mixed vegetable platter is not complicated. You only need to wash the ingredients and cut them simply. It is also very important to control the heat for this dish. It only takes a few minutes to turn off the heat and serve.

1. Prepare the main ingredients.

2. Peel the pumpkin, clean the corn silk, wash the skin of the purple sweet potato and yam, drain the water and set aside.

3. Bring the water in the pot to a boil, keep the heat high, and add the cut purple sweet potatoes first.

4. Cut the corn in half and put it into the pot after a while.

5. Cut the yam into sections. Don’t put them in a hurry. Wait until they have been steamed for 10 minutes before putting them in the steamer.

6. Add the pumpkin at the end. It will take 10 minutes to cook the pumpkin.

7. Put the corn and purple sweet potato in the middle as they cook slowly. Place the others around the edge, cover the pot and steam them together.

8. You can open the pot at any time during steaming, keep the heat on high, and check if the pumpkin is cooked. Don't steam it too much or it will become a mush.

9. Remove from the pan and serve. Eat while hot.
