Can pregnant women eat alkaline noodles?

There are many taboos for women after they become pregnant, such as not smoking, not drinking, not eating spicy and irritating foods, etc. If these taboos are violated, it is very likely to have adverse effects on their body and fetus. Alkaline noodles are a very common food in people's daily life. So can pregnant women eat alkaline noodles? Let us introduce it below.

Yes, you can eat it. The nutritional requirements in the early stages of pregnancy are not high. After 4 months of pregnancy, you should start paying attention to increasing nutrition, such as the intake of calcium, iron and other elements. You should eat more eggs, fish, lean meat, milk powder, etc., and try to supplement your nutrition from your diet. Fruits and vegetables are also indispensable, and you should have regular prenatal checkups.

Foods that pregnant women should not eat are as follows:

1. Raw fish and shellfish: such as sashimi, oysters, sushi, clams, etc. All fish, meat and shellfish must be fully cooked before eating.

2. Raw, undercooked eggs or egg products: It is easy to avoid eating raw eggs, but what is easily overlooked are some common Western desserts, such as tiramisu, which is a dessert that does not require baking and one of the ingredients is raw egg liquid.

3. Smoked products: Do not eat cooked meat bought from the supermarket directly. Make sure to heat it to boiling hot before eating, and wash your hands carefully after handling cooked meat.

4. Alcohol or alcoholic beverages and food: Alcohol consumed during pregnancy will pass through the placenta and affect the fetus. As far as I know, in many places there is a custom of eating fermented rice wine after childbirth to increase milk production. The alcohol consumed during lactation will also pass through the blood-milk barrier and affect the baby's health, which is harmful and has no benefits.

5. Caffeine: Daily caffeine intake of more than 300 mg (approximately two 250 ml cups of coffee or six 250 ml cups of black tea) may cause harm to the fetus. If the daily caffeine intake exceeds 500 mg, it may reduce the birth weight and head circumference of the newborn. The caffeine limit during pregnancy is 1 to 2 small cups per day, and try to use decaffeinated coffee. Common caffeinated foods in our daily lives include tea, carbonated soft drinks such as Coca-Cola, chocolate candy, coffee ice cream, etc.
