Honey corn pancake recipe

1. Cook a small pot of rice porridge using the usual method. The cooking time can be slightly shorter and the rice grains do not need to be too soft so that they are chewy.

2. Use a small bowl to scoop 4 bowls of cornmeal and half a bowl of flour and put them into the dough bowl. When the cooked rice porridge is not too hot but slightly higher than the temperature of your hand, add the yeast and mix well. Pour the mixture into the bowl containing cornmeal and use it to knead the dough. Pour honey into the bowl during the kneading process. You can control the proportion yourself!

3. After kneading the dough, set it aside for fermentation. You can put a lid on the pot to speed up the fermentation. Generally, 1-2 hours is enough. The fermentation time will be shorter when the weather is warm.

4. After the dough is fermented, its volume will expand. At this time, put the dough on the panel and knead it for a while, cut it into small pieces, and then put it into the mold to press it into shape.

5. Make the corn dough in the basin one by one and shape them.

6. Turn on a low heat, pour a small amount of oil into the pan, turn the pan so that the bottom of the pan is covered with oil, and when the oil is hot, put the corn tortillas in and fry them.

7. When both sides are browned, you can serve it on a plate!
