How to make taro buns

High work pressure is a problem that many people have to deal with nowadays. After a day, the whole person is basically very tired. It is not realistic to spend time preparing a sumptuous dinner. At this time, you might as well consider some simple dishes. For example, taro buns are easy to make, which can meet health needs and does not take too much time.

1. Add yeast to warm water and 2g sugar

2. Add flour and knead into a smooth dough, ferment until it doubles in size.

3. Prepare the filling while fermenting. Wash the taro.

4. Boil water in a pot. Add taro and cook until soft. Chopsticks can easily penetrate it.

5. Boil the taro until it is soft, remove the skin, wash it, and blend it into a paste with a food processor.

6. Add sugar to the taro paste while it’s still hot, stir evenly, and the filling is ready.

7. When the dough has fermented, dip your finger in dry flour and poke a small hole in the dough. It is fine if the dough does not shrink immediately.

8. Take out the dough, knead it into a round shape, release the air, and knead it into long strips.

9. Cut into small pieces and flatten

10. Roll the skin into a thick middle and thin edge skin

11. Wrap with taro paste.

12. Pinch it into the shape of a bun, or seal it to expose the shape of the bean paste bun

13. Take a steamer, put in the steamer grid, put in oil paper, or brush the steamer grid with a thin layer of oil, put the wrapped buns in the steamer grid to rise for 15 minutes, steam over high heat for 15 minutes, do not open the lid, and simmer in the pot for three minutes (to prevent the bun skin from shrinking)

14. Finish
