How to cook pork ribs with rice

Method 1

Ingredients

Ingredients: 500g rice

Ingredients: 500g spareribs, 1 carrot, some onions

Accessories: salt, dark soy sauce, pepper, MSG, peanut oil as needed

1. Soak rice for 2-3 hours and chop spareribs into small pieces.

2. Put water in the pot and blanch the ribs.

3. Dice mushrooms, onions and carrots.

4. Pour oil into the pan.

5. Add diced onion and sauté until fragrant.

6. Add the ribs.

7. Stir-fry, add soy sauce, salt and pepper.

8. Then add mushrooms, onions and diced carrots and stir-fry.

9. Add the soaked rice.

10. Stir-fry, add water and bring to a boil.

11. Put it into the rice cooker, press the rice button and cook for 30 minutes.

Method 2

Ingredients preparation

Ingredients: 250g rice, 300g pork ribs

Ingredients:

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 tsp soy sauce

5g rock sugar

1 small piece of ginger

1 tablespoon cooking wine

1 piece chives

1 tablespoon beef sauce

1/8 teaspoon sugar

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps

1. Bring a proper amount of water to a boil, add cooking wine and ginger slices, blanch the ribs and drain.

2. Pour vegetable oil into a hot pan and add rock sugar to stir-fry the sugar color. When the oil starts to foam and the color starts to turn yellow, the sugar color is ready.

3. Pour in the ribs, stir-fry for a few times, and evenly coat the ribs with sugar color

4. Add a tablespoon of beef sauce, soy sauce and sugar

5. Stir fry thoroughly

6. Pour in enough hot water to cover the ribs, bring to a boil over high heat then turn to low heat

7. Simmer the ribs for 10 minutes, add salt and stir well

8. Pour in the washed rice and simmer for about 30 minutes. When the soup is absorbed and the rice is cooked until soft and tasty, sprinkle with chopped green onions and turn off the heat.

Cooking Tips

1. Add all the water at once and do not add any more water in the middle. After 20 minutes, check the sauce every few minutes and stir-fry from time to time to avoid burning the bottom.

2. After the rock sugar is fried with sugar color, it will lose its sweetness, so it is best to add a little sugar when seasoning. After blanching the ribs, be sure to drain the water before putting them into the pot, otherwise water will drip into the pot and splash oil;

3. After pouring in the rice, you can also move all the ingredients in the pot to the rice cooker, turn on the cooking function, and you can also stew out delicious and fragrant pork ribs rice.

1. Ask the store to chop the ribs into small pieces, then soak them in clean water for a while to filter out the blood; put them in a pot with cold water, add cooking wine, bay leaves, cinnamon, star anise and other spices. After the water boils, cook for another minute or two, remove the ribs, rinse off the floating foam in running clean water, and drain the water.

2. Add the ribs to the electric stew pot, add appropriate amount of water, and simmer for about half an hour after the water boils. Take out the ribs, drain the soup, and marinate them with a small amount of salt and light soy sauce in advance; (determine the stewing time according to your own pot, the ribs should be soft and the soup should be slightly white; it is not necessary to stew them until the bones are removed); keep the soup from cooking the ribs for cooking rice.

3. Crush the garlic and ginger separately; wash the carrots and cut them into dice.

4. Add appropriate amount of rice to the rice cooker, wash it clean and drain it.

5. Heat oil in a wok, add bay leaves, star anise, cinnamon and other spices, stir-fry briefly; add garlic slices and ginger slices, stir-fry until fragrant, add pork ribs, stir-fry for a while; pour in appropriate amount of pork ribs soup (just the amount of water to be cooked rice, if it is difficult to estimate, add a little more soup), salt, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and sugar. After the water boils, add carrots, pour the vegetables and soup into the rice cooker, start the cooking button, and when the rice is cooked, jump to the keep warm button.

6. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and a little sesame oil, then serve after it is slightly warm.
