They just want to fall asleep after washing up at home. However, eating out in restaurants every day makes them miss the delicious home-cooked meals. In fact, it does not take a lot of time and energy to make this steamed silver carp with fermented black beans and chili peppers.

1. Remove the head and tail of the silver carp, leaving the middle part, and cut it into two large pieces.

2. Marinate it with salt and cooking wine overnight. Now that it is hot, cover it with plastic wrap and let it stand indoors for two hours before putting it in the refrigerator.

3. Wash the marinated fish pieces and evenly coat them with a layer of starch.

4. Turn on the fire, add oil, and when the oil is 80% hot, put the fish pieces in and fry until both sides are golden brown.

5. Take out the fried fish pieces, drain the oil and set aside.

6. Chop ginger, garlic, red pepper and chili pepper into small pieces and put them into a plate together with the fermented black beans.

7. Cut some green onions into shreds and spread them on the steamed fish plate.

8. Put the fried fish pieces into a plate covered with chopped green onions.

9. Turn on the fire, add oil into the hot pot, add the chopped pepper, ginger and garlic, and also the fermented black beans and thirteen spices. Pour in steamed fish oil and light soy sauce and stir-fry until fragrant. You can add some water during the frying process.

10. Pour the fried black bean chili on the fish pieces and add a little chicken powder.

11. Add water to the steamer, put in the fish pieces after the water boils, cover the pot and steam for ten minutes. Turn off the heat and steam for five minutes.

12. While steaming the fish, cut the remaining green onions into shreds.

13. After the fish is steamed, add the chopped green onion for decoration.

14. Steamed silver carp with fermented black beans and chili peppers is ready!
