How to make pearl tofu

1. Prepare the ingredients shown in the picture. Chop or mince the meat filling in advance, wash the tofu, wash the ginger and onion, and add an egg.

2.12 Soak the glutinous rice overnight, wash it clean, drain the water and set aside.

3.21 Dice the ginger and chop the scallion whites and green onions separately.

10.1 Stir clockwise until evenly mixed.

11.2 Add all the meat filling, a little cooking wine, salt, white pepper and cornstarch.

12. Put gauze on the steamer (wet it with water and wring it out before putting it on the steamer).

13. Use your hands to shape the tofu and meat filling into balls, put them into the bowl with glutinous rice, and evenly coat them with glutinous rice.

14. Arrange the slices with some space between them and leave them for ten minutes before steaming them.

15. Steam over high heat for 20 minutes.

16. Remove the lid and let it cool for one minute (so that it will not stick when you take it out).

17. Serve on a plate and garnish with green onion leaves.
