1. Prepare all the ingredients.

2. Wash 8 cabbages and drain.

3. Tear into the size you like.

4. Add a spoonful of salt and mix well. Let it sit for two hours to force out the moisture in the cabbage.

5. After the cabbage becomes wilted, add a small spoonful of sugar and mix well.

6. Chop garlic and dried chili into small pieces.

7. Put chili, garlic and peppercorns into the cabbage bowl and mix well.

8. Add two tablespoons of white vinegar and mix well.

9. Put it into a clean glass bottle, press it and seal it tightly. The bottle can be opened and consumed within two or three days.
