Chicken and Kelp Stew

The method of stewing chicken with kelp is very simple. First, we need to prepare chicken breast, kelp, soybeans and onions, then cut the chicken breast into pieces, and then blanch the chicken. After the blanching chicken is taken out, add kelp and soybeans and boil, then add the chicken and simmer for half an hour before eating. It is a very suitable soup for us to supplement iodine, and the kelp chicken soup is relatively light and suitable for quenching thirst.

Ingredients

1200g chicken breast

800g kelp

Excipients

10g scallion

10g sliced ​​ginger

seasoning

Two star anise

A pinch of salt

10g beef powder

Detailed steps

1. Remove the head and butt of a whole chicken, take the front and back, cut in half, and wash with clean water.

2. Put the pot into cold water and skim off the blood foam.

3. After blanching, remove the chicken and pour out the water.

4. Pour clean water into the soup pot, the amount of water should be enough to cover the chicken. Bring to a boil over high heat.

5. Prepare two star anise, cut the green onion into sections, and slice the ginger, and set aside.

6. Bring the water to a boil and put the chicken into the soup pot.

7. Bring to a boil again and add scallion, ginger and star anise.

8. Cover and simmer on low heat for one hour.

9. Kelp.

10. Wash the kelp with clean water.

11. After one hour, poke the chicken with chopsticks. If it goes in easily, it means it is done.

12. Cut the kelp into several pieces and put it into the chicken soup.

13. Add salt and beef powder, cover and cook over medium heat for 5-8 minutes.
