How to make wild amaranth dumplings

A healthy diet can prolong a person’s life. So, how can we use “eating” to prolong our life? You still have to achieve it by yourself. Now, I will introduce you to the method of making wild amaranth dumplings.

1. Add water to flour to make dumpling dough and let it rise for one hour.

2. Blanch the wild amaranth and cut it into small pieces, the finer the better.

3. Prepare the meat filling. Add an egg, a tablespoon of light soy sauce, a tablespoon of oyster sauce, a tablespoon of sesame paste (secret weapon), a teaspoon of five-spice powder, a teaspoon of white pepper powder, a teaspoon of sugar, and appropriate amounts of minced ginger, salt and chicken essence to the meat, then beat it until it is firm and set aside.

4. Mix the minced meat, green onions and wild amaranth to make dumpling filling and set aside.

5. After kneading the dough into long strips with your hands, cut into small pieces and make dumpling skins.

6. Make dumplings. Each family has its own way of making them. This is how I make dumplings in my family.

7. To cook the dumplings, put them in boiling water and add cold water twice in the middle of boiling.
