3. Cover the semi-finished product and put it into the microwave (set the power and time according to your own microwave, I use medium heat for 8 minutes, or high heat for 5 minutes). Set the time and bake. PS: You can adjust the time according to the power of your own microwave oven. Insert a toothpick into the center of the steamed cake. If it comes out clean, it is cooked.

Tips

You can add other ingredients to the food, such as walnut powder, red dates, pine nuts and other preserved fruits. In short, add whatever you like. Oh, by the way, you can also steam it, which makes it more moist!

What kind of flour is used to make steamed cakes?

High-gluten flour is definitely not okay because it is not soft enough. Generally, low-gluten flour or medium-low-gluten flour is used.
