How to make bean flour cake (donkey roll)

1. Prepare homemade red bean filling, fried soybean powder, glutinous rice flour and warm water.

2. Put the glutinous rice noodles into a bowl, add appropriate amount of warm water and mix well.

3. It should be fine if it can form into clumps like this, don’t make it too thin!

4. Put water in the pot. After the water boils, put the glutinous rice dough into the steamer and put a wet cloth on it to prevent the glutinous rice from leaking out from the small holes in the steamer during steaming, so that the amount of glutinous rice will become less after it is cooked.

5. Cover and steam over high heat for 25-30 minutes.

6. Use fried soybean flour as the dough, put the steamed glutinous rice dough into the cooked soybean flour while it is still hot, use a rolling pin to roll it into large thin slices, the thinner the better, 0.5-0.8 cm thick will be fine, spread an even layer of red bean filling, and roll it up from one side (it was too sticky to take a photo, so I'll describe it).

7. Then use a knife to cut into pieces (dip the knife in water without touching it) and it is ready to eat.

8. Place them on plates separately.

9. It is sticky and fragrant, just great.
