How to make hawthorn bread

1. Dissolve yeast in water

3. Pour in flour and add appropriate amount of warm water, knead until soft and place in a warm place to ferment.

4. Let the dough ferment until it is twice its original volume.

5. Cut the meat into pieces and chop the onion and ginger.

6. Put the chopped meat, chopped green onion and ginger in a bowl, add appropriate amount of soy sauce and thirteen spices, mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.

7. Chop the hawthorn and chives.

8. Place the cut hawthorn leeks on a plate and set aside.

9. Pour the marinated meat into the bowl containing mountain leeks, add peanut oil, appropriate amount of salt and chicken essence and mix well.

10. Mix the fillings.

11. Knead the fermented dough, roll it into long strips and cut it into equal-sized dough pieces.

12. Flatten it and roll it into bun skin. (Don’t roll the dough of the leavened bread too thin)

13. Wrap the filling.

14. Pinch both sides into the shape of wheat ears.

15. Put the wrapped buns in the pot and let them rise for 15 to 20 minutes.

16. After proofing, steam over high heat until steam comes out, then switch to medium heat and steam for 15 minutes.

17. Remove from the pan and serve.
