How to make carrot pork buns

In our busy lives, more and more people tend to order takeout and ignore truly green and healthy home-cooked meals. Carrot and pork buns are a very delicious home-cooked dish. Squeeze out a little time from your busy life to make some side dishes to reward yourself. Don't let life wear you down.

1. Put the flour in a bowl and pour in a packet of yeast.

2. Use chopsticks to mix the yeast and flour evenly.

3. Take 30 degree warm water and add it into the flour, stirring while pouring until the flour becomes flocculent and there is no dry flour.

4. Use your hands to knead the flocculent flour into a smooth dough, cover with a lid or plastic wrap, and wait for fermentation.

5. While fermenting, prepare the filling and wash the carrots.

6. Grate the carrots.

7. Chop the shredded carrots into small pieces.

8. Take appropriate amount of green onion and ginger and chop them.

9. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant.

10. Add the chopped carrots into the pan and stir-fry until they are 70% cooked.

11. After the carrots have cooled, add the minced meat you purchased.

12. Add dark soy sauce, thirteen spices, sesame oil, salt and an egg to the filling. I also added some chopped green onions.

13. Use chopsticks to stir the filling in one direction to make it firm, and add a few tablespoons of water during the stirring process.

14. The filling is ready.

15. Use your middle finger to poke a hole in the dough. If the dough does not shrink, it means it has been fermented.

16. Take a piece of dough and knead it into a long strip.

17. Use a knife to cut into small, even portions.

18. Roll the dough into a round shape and flatten it.

19. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into bun skins.

20. Add appropriate amount of fillings.

21. Pinch out folds.

22. Wrap into buns.

23. Wrap all the buns and let them rise again for 20 minutes.

24. Add cold water to the steamed buns and cook over medium heat.

25. The buns I make are smaller and cook faster. Turn off the heat fifteen minutes after the water boils and simmer for another three minutes.

26. The hot buns are out of the pot!
