1. Wash the red dates and set aside.

3. Add milk into the juicer.

4. Put the red dates into the juicer, turn on the power switch, and squeeze them into red date paste.

5. Squeeze the red dates paste.

6. Put the flour into a larger container.

7. Dissolve the yeast powder in 30-degree warm water.

8. Pour the red date paste and dissolved yeast powder into the container containing flour, and then add an appropriate amount of white sugar.

9. Use chopsticks to stir the flour in a clockwise direction until it becomes floc-like.

10. Knead the flour into a smoother dough.

11. Put the kneaded dough into a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and place it in a warm place to ferment until it doubles in size.

12. You can press the fermented dough with your finger. If the finger mark does not disappear, it means the dough is well fermented.

13. Knead out the bubbles in the risen dough.

14. Roll the dough into a large skin. The skin doesn't need to be rolled too thin, otherwise the steamed buns won't rise.

15. Use a knife to cut a rectangle out of the rolled skin.

16. Roll up the rolled skin from bottom to top. Roll it into a roll.

17. Use a knife to cut into steamed buns of similar size and let them ferment for a second time for 20 minutes.

18. Add water to the steamer and put the prepared steamed buns into the steamer when the water is cold. Steam over high heat for 25 minutes, then turn off the heat and steam it for 5 minutes.
