How to make fancy red bean paste stuffed buns

Winter is coming, and fancy red bean paste-filled buns are very suitable for use in this season. They are extremely nutritious and healthy. Fresh ingredients must be prepared, and the production process is very simple and easy to operate. However, the amount of ingredients must be controlled, not too much or too little. 1. Peel the pumpkin and purple sweet potato, slice them, and steam them.

2. Put the pumpkin and purple sweet potato into a bowl, mash them into a paste, then add flour and yeast and knead them into a smooth consistency. Then place them in a warm place for fermentation until the dough rises.

Take out the small dough from the purple sweet potato, roll it into a rope of 1cm wide and 30cm long, then tie it evenly on the pumpkin caterpillar dough just made, and decorate the eyes with red beans.

For crab buns, take out a small dough from the pumpkin dough, roll it into a ball, then flatten it, use a dough roller to roll it into a 1cm thick round dough sheet, spread a thin layer of bean paste on it, then use the dough to roll out 1Cm noodles, cut it into 4 small pieces and place them on the dough sheet in turn as crab claws. Fold the dough pieces together and pinch them tightly to form the crab body, then shape the crab's front legs into a scissor shape. Use red beans to make the eyes and add a small butterfly bow.

6. For the bird-shaped buns, roll the dough into 0.5 cm sheets, use a mold to take out two pieces, spread the bean paste filling on one of them, and gently pat the other piece on top. Then apply red bean eyes and use a toothpick to slightly shape the feathers.

7. For the red date buns, roll the dough into three noodles of the same length. Then glue the ends of each stick together, place the joint in the middle, and place red dates on both sides. Arrange three lines 1, 2, 3 neatly up and down, then pinch them tightly with chopsticks, and a flower shape will emerge.

To make rose-shaped steamed buns, roll the dough into slices, use a mold to take out seven slices (I used the stainless steel cup lid for children to drink water), line them up in order (the colors of the slices can be placed up and down according to personal preference), and then press down the middle with a chopstick. Use noodles to roll a small flower shape and place it on the dough. Roll it up from bottom to top and cut in the middle. Two roses will appear and then shape it slightly.

9. To make flower-shaped buns, take out small pieces of pumpkin dough, roll them into balls, flatten them, fill them with red bean paste, seal the edges and roll them into balls. Take out a small piece of white dough, roll it into a ball, flatten it into a dough sheet, put the pumpkin dough on it, and then close the opening like making a dumpling, with the opening facing downwards. After shaping it, use a knife to cut a cross on it.
