How to make brown sugar steamed buns

1. Mix wheat flour and yeast evenly

2. Stir brown sugar and water until dissolved

3. Pour brown sugar water into the flour and knead into a smooth dough

4. Knead the dough into the shape shown below (I can’t tell what shape it is)

5. Use a knife to cut a hole in the middle of the dough

6. Put it in the steamer and let it ferment until it doubles in size.

7. Mix the brown sugar and flour in the auxiliary materials evenly.

8. When the steamed buns are fermented to twice their size, spray them with a little water and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

9. Put the mixed brown sugar flour into the opening of the steamed bun.

10. After the water boils, steam in a steamer for 15 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from the heat.

The dish of brown sugar steamed buns can be modified according to your own taste, by making use of the seasoning to enhance the flavor. Pay attention to adjusting the amount of soy sauce, chopped green onions, and minced garlic.
