How to cook blanched sweet potato leaves

1. Prepare a handful of sweet potato seedlings

2. Pinch off the stems of the sweet potato leaves with your hands, leaving about 10 cm of the stems attached to the leaves.

3. Soak the sweet potato leaves with the stems pinched off in water for about ten minutes.

4. Take out the soaked sweet potato leaves and set aside

5. Cut the red pepper into rings and the garlic into slices.

6. Add water to the pot and bring to a boil over high heat. After the water boils, add the sweet potato leaves and blanch until the leaves become soft.

7. Take the sweet potato leaves out of the pot and put them in cold water. Change the water twice to allow the sweet potato leaves to cool quickly.

8. Place the sweet potato leaves on a plate after they have cooled.

9. Turn on the fire, heat the pot, add oil, add garlic and red pepper after the oil is hot, stir-fry until fragrant, then add light soy sauce and salt to make sauce.

10. Put the prepared sauce in a small bowl.

11. Pour the sauce on the sweet potato leaves on the plate, decorate the leaves with chili rings and garlic slices, and the beautiful dish is ready to be served.

High work pressure should not be an excuse for us to eat casually. Although blanched sweet potato leaves are easy to make, you will feel unsatisfied after eating them.
