How to use yam to nourish the kidneys?

Yam is the Huaishan in our daily life. Yam has the function of Chinese herbal medicine and has the effect of nourishing the kidneys. Yam can be cooked with native chicken. This kind of soup is relatively warm and nourishing, and it is very helpful for friends with kidney deficiency. There are also stir-fried yam slices, yam fried pork slices, etc.

Recipe: Common ways to eat yam to nourish the kidneys:

(1) Stewed yam with chicken (soup), (2) Stir-fried yam slices, (3) Stir-fried yam with pork slices

(1) Main ingredients: 2000g fresh yam, 1000g fresh chicken nuggets. Accessories: 2 green onions (cut into sections), 3 slices of ginger, a little sesame oil, salt and pepper. Method: 1. Cut the yam into sections. 2. Use a pressure cooker to cook the chicken until it is almost three-quarters cooked, then pour in the yam segments and add in the auxiliary ingredients, then cook over low heat for 20 minutes.

(2) Main ingredient: some fresh yam. Accessories: 2 green onions (cut into sections), 1 garlic sprout (chopped), a little ginger slices, vinegar, sesame oil, salt and pepper. The cooking method is similar to fried lotus root slices with vinegar.

(3) Main ingredients: 200 grams of fresh yam and 300 grams of pork tenderloin. Supplementary ingredients: 50 grams of carrots, 50 grams of cucumbers, 2 green onions (cut into sections), 3 slices of ginger, a little salt, wine, and pepper. Medicinal materials: 5 qian of Astragalus, 3 qian of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 2 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala, and 10 jujubes. Method: 1. Cut carrots and cucumbers into sections with a serrated knife. 2. Boil the herbs and ginger slices with 4 bowls of water into 1 bowl of medicinal juice and set aside. 3. Cut the tenderloin into thin slices and add all the seasonings to marinate. 4. After frying the scallion segments with a little oil, add the meat slices and stir-fry until they change color. 5. Pour in yam, carrot and cucumber, pour in the juice, add salt to taste and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
