Super simple snow skin mooncake recipe

In life, everyone cannot do without the word "eating", which is the most basic need for our survival. In order to meet this demand, many people are looking for all kinds of delicious food everywhere, but they don’t realize that their health will be lost. But if you can cook some delicious food yourself, you will not only enjoy the meal but also eat healthily. So, let me introduce to you how to make super simple snow skin mooncakes.

1. Mix all the powders and granulated sugar in the main ingredients and stir well. Then pour in half of the water and stir.

2.1 Pour in the oil and mix thoroughly, then cover with plastic wrap and put into the steamer, steam for 25 minutes after the water starts to boil.

3.2 Pour in the other half of the water and stir until there are no particles.

4.1 Put the glutinous rice flour in a dry pan and fry it on low heat until it is cooked without any raw smell and slightly yellow. It can be used as a sprinkling.

5.2 After steaming, take out and remove the plastic wrap to dissipate heat. There will be a layer of floating oil on the surface. When it is no longer hot, rub it evenly with your hands, then wrap it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour.

6.1 Divide the dough into several portions according to the required colors, and knead them evenly. Use green tea powder for green, purple sweet potato powder for purple, rice amaranth juice for pink, carrot juice for orange, any color you can think of can be used. (You can use some cooked glutinous rice flour when kneading, otherwise your hands will be very sticky)

7.2 Put the bean paste in the pan and stir-fry it slightly. After it cools down, shape it into small balls. The bean paste bought is relatively wet, so it tastes better and is easier to wrap after frying.

8. Spread some cooked glutinous rice flour on your hands, pinch the snow skin into a nest shape, put the red bean paste filling in it, wrap it up like making glutinous rice balls, and tighten the seal.

9. Spread a thin layer of puff pastry on the surface of the wrapped mooncake ball, put it into the mooncake mold, and press the mold tightly with your hands. Glutinous rice is relatively soft, so don't press too hard, otherwise the filling will be squeezed out.

10. Demould the product.

It is not complicated to make super simple snow skin mooncakes. I believe that if you read the above carefully, you should be able to gain something from it. Of course, if you want to taste your own craftsmanship, then please give it a try.
