How to make homemade yogurt in a rice cooker

1. Ingredients: 800g pure milk, 200g plain yogurt, 10g white sugar

2. Prepare a 1000ml bowl with a plastic lid, boil a pot of water, pour the water into the bowl, fill it up, and soak for 1-2 minutes;

3. Turn the bowl lid upside down, add boiling water and soak for 1-2 minutes to disinfect and sterilize.

4. Pour out the water in the bowl and then pour in the yogurt;

5. Add pure milk;

6. Stir evenly with a sterilized spoon without water or oil;

7. Pour a small shallow pot of boiling water into the rice cooker;

8. Seal the bowl filled with milk and yogurt and put it in the rice cooker;

9. Cover the rice cooker and plug it into the power source;

10. Adjust the function to cook porridge, lift the button to select keep warm, turn off the power after one hour, do not open the lid, continue to cover for 3-4 hours, then take it out. If the yogurt becomes thicker, it is ready. If not, put it back in and cover for another 1-2 hours, until it reaches the concentration you are satisfied with. Then take it out and add sugar, stir evenly, cover the lid tightly, put it in the refrigerator and take it out when eating.
