How to make curry-flavored tofu

1. Cut the tofu into triangular pieces, boil water in a pot, add 1 teaspoon of salt, gently put the tofu pieces in, boil for a while and then remove from the water and drain.

2. Let the tofu cubes cool down, absorb some of the water around them, and then coat them with dry cornstarch all around.

3. Fry the tofu cubes in oil until they turn light yellow and form a slightly hard shell on the surface. Remove from the pan and set aside.

4. Bring the pot to a boil, add a proper amount of oil, a little onion shreds, sauté until fragrant, add coffee powder or cubes, spread with a spoon, then add 3 tablespoons of coconut milk, half a bowl of water, light soy sauce, salt, sugar and cooking wine until the taste is right, and bring to a boil (you can also add 1 teaspoon of instant coffee).

5. Add onions and fried tofu, stir slightly, cover the pot for 5 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of starch (diluted with 2 tablespoons), stir evenly, and cook until the sauce is thick before serving.
