Materials

Ingredients: 1 pound of chicken feet, 200 grams of pickled pepper water, 1 lemon

Accessories: 1 cucumber, 1 red pepper, 1/2 onion, 3 slices of young ginger, 1 carrot, some five-spice powder, some salt, some chicken essence, 5 cloves of garlic, 10 peppercorns

Lemon Pickled Pepper Chicken Feet Recipe

1. Cut off the nails of the chicken feet, cut them in half, wash and soak them for 10 minutes, changing the water once in the middle.

2. Put the chicken feet into a pot with boiling water and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Then rinse with running water until the chicken feet are cooled thoroughly.

3. Add 1L of water to the pickled peppers and bring to a boil. Add the peppercorns, five-spice powder and salt and cook for 5 minutes, then let it cool thoroughly (you can put it in a water-tight container to speed up cooling).

4. Cut the ginger into shreds, cut the cucumber and carrot into strips, tear the onion and red pepper into slices, slice the garlic and lemon.

5. Prepare a larger container, put the chicken feet at the bottom, put other ingredients on the chicken feet, pour in the cooled chili water, stir slightly, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 24 hours!
