Make all the buns that can fit in the steamer. If there are too many buns to steam in one pot, make the rest later. Avoid making the bun skin too dry. 3. Put a wet cloth on the steamer and place the buns neatly, leaving some space in between.

6. Put the food in a pot with cold water and steam it for half an hour, then turn off the heat and keep it in the pot for 5 minutes. A bamboo steamer would be even better. This ratio is enough for 21 buns. I can steam 14 in total with two steamers. There are still seven buns left, which were made when the first pot was almost ready. Put it in after the first pot is out of the pot. Because the water has boiled, it only took 25 minutes to steam it.
