How to make French bean porridge

Green beans can be used to make many delicious dishes. For example, if you cut green beans into small pieces, you can use them to make rice or porridge. When making porridge, you should make sure to soak the rice first. Soak it in cold water for about half an hour, take it out to drain the water, and then put it in the pot to cook. Add green beans when it is almost cooked, and finally add a small amount of salt, because this is a salty porridge that can stimulate the appetite without being too greasy.

French Bean Porridge

Ingredients: 100g japonica rice, 100g green beans,

Seasoning: 2 grams of salt

Method 1. Wash and clean the green beans;

2. Wash the japonica rice, soak it in cold water for half an hour, remove it and drain the water;

3. Add about 1500 ml of cold water to the pot, put the rice in, bring to a boil over high heat and add the green beans;

4. Then simmer over low heat until it becomes porridge, adjust the taste with salt, simmer for a while, then serve.

Tips on food incompatibility:

Japonica rice: Tang Dynasty? Meng Shen: "Japonica rice should not be eaten with horse meat, as it will cause tumors. It should not be eaten with Xanthium sibiricum, as it will cause sudden heart pain."

Wang Yuying of the Qing Dynasty said: "Although fried rice is fragrant, it is dry and helps to stimulate fire. People who are not suffering from cold and diarrhea should avoid it."

Sautéed Green Beans with Minced Pork

Ingredients: 12 ounces of green beans, 2 ounces of minced meat, 1 scallion, 2 peppers, 1 piece of ginger, 4 cloves of garlic

Seasoning: 1/2 tsp chicken broth, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp wine, a pinch of pepper

Method 1. First, chop the green onion, mince the pepper, mince the garlic, and mince the ginger.

2. Dice the green beans, put them into the oil pan and fry them over high heat. Remove them from the oil and wait until the oil temperature rises again. Add the green beans and fry them again until they turn slightly yellow. Remove them from the oil and drain them for later use.

3. Use the remaining oil in the pan to stir-fry the minced meat until loose, then add the minced garlic, ginger and chili until fragrant, then add the wine, oyster sauce, sugar, chicken powder, salt, pepper and soy sauce and stir-fry until the soup is dry, then add the green beans and stir-fry evenly, add the chopped green onions before serving and stir-fry evenly, then serve.

Sesame green beans salad

Ingredients: 3 tablespoons white sesame seeds, 1.5 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon broth, green beans

Method 1. Sesame paste method: Put 3 tablespoons of white sesame seeds in a hot pan and fry until fragrant, then grind them in a mortar, then add 1.5 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of broth.

2. Remove the hard strands from the green beans, cut them diagonally, blanch them in boiling water with a little salt, remove them and soak them in cold water, drain and set aside.

3. Mix the cooled or chilled green beans with sesame paste.

Tips: Sesame seeds can be ground until oil comes out and it becomes sticky. But I personally prefer the chewy texture of the granules.
