During various festivals, glutinous rice is made into various foods. Cooking glutinous rice in an electric rice cooker is a relatively simple method. First, soak the glutinous rice in advance, wash it in advance, and then add some other ingredients before you can make it. The nutritional effect is good.

How to cook glutinous rice in a rice cooker

1. Prepare the ingredients for ordinary glutinous rice: red beans, coix seeds, glutinous rice, pumpkin seeds, and diced cucumber in appropriate amounts. Preparation steps: 1. Wash the red beans and coix seeds with water and steam them in a pot for 20 minutes. 2. Then add a little glutinous rice and cucurbit seeds and steam them with water. After removing from the pot, sprinkle with diced cucumber and serve.

2. Preparation of ingredients for pork ribs and glutinous rice: pork ribs, mushrooms, lotus root, and glutinous rice

1. Steam glutinous rice and set aside. Soak the mushrooms and set aside. Wash the lotus root. 2. Slice the soaked mushrooms. 3. Braise the ribs (the braising process is omitted). The pineapple rice is shaped like a whole pineapple, with a beautiful and elegant shape. Inside the pineapple shell is a soft rice ball made of pineapple flesh and glutinous rice. Ingredients for stir-fried glutinous rice: 1 cup of long glutinous rice, 1 Guangdong sausage, 15 grams of onion, 6 soaked shiitake mushrooms, 10 grams of soaked dried shrimp, 5 grams of shallots, and 5 grams of coriander. Production steps: 1. Soak the glutinous rice in cold water for 4 hours, put it in a steamer, cover and steam for 30 minutes. 2. Soak the mushrooms and dried shrimps in cold water for ten minutes, wash them and soak them in a small amount of warm water for about 30 minutes (keep the warm water for later use). Cut the onions, sausages, and soaked mushrooms and dried shrimps into small pieces, and chop the green onions and coriander. 3. Heat vegetable oil and sesame oil in a pan, add chopped onion and stir-fry over low heat until slightly charred. 4. Add mushrooms, Chinese sausage and dried shrimp and stir-fry until fragrant. 5. Add the steamed glutinous rice and pour in a small amount of water used to soak the mushrooms. (Add in batches, don't let the rice get too soft) 6. After the rice is stir-fried, add all the seasonings and chopped green onions and coriander and stir-fry until the water in the rice is dry.
