5. Knead the dough again to deflate and let it rise for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle flour on the work surface, roll the dough into long strips, cut into small pieces, and flatten into round pieces with thick middle and thin edges.

6. Wrap the prepared cowpea filling into the bun dough, put the raw bun embryo into the steamer with corn husks, steam it with cold water, turn off the heat after about 15 minutes, steam for 1-2 minutes, then slowly remove the lid.
