1. Wash and peel the lotus root and Chinese yam (you can use a steel wool to peel the lotus root, which is clean and convenient)

2. Chop lotus root and Chinese yam

3. Chop into puree. The finer the chop, the more delicate the taste. This step can also be done with a blender

4. Chop the pork belly into minced meat. The finer the mince, the more delicate the taste.

5. Pour the chopped green onion and ginger into the minced meat, add appropriate amount of salt, cooking wine, sesame oil for seasoning, and add a little sugar to enhance the flavor.

6. Use chopsticks to stir the minced meat in one direction until it is firm, then add a little water and stir evenly. Add some lotus root paste to make it softer and more glutinous.

7. Put the chopped lotus root, yam and minced meat together

8. Stir evenly in one direction

9. Put the mixed lotus root paste into a heat-resistant glass bowl and flatten it with a spoon.

10. Use chopsticks to make a few holes so that the lotus root paste can be steamed evenly from top to bottom.

11. Cover with plastic wrap and poke a few holes with a toothpick

12. Place the glass bowl in the microwave and cook on high for 4 minutes. Chop the chives, take them out and sprinkle a little chives on top before serving.
