13.12. Add the lamb chops, but put them on the top. The reason why it is placed on the top is to prevent the mutton from becoming too tough. Simmer for about 20-30 minutes, until potatoes are soft and cooked through. (Use between medium and low heat, 15 minutes)

14.13. Then take out the lamb chops, cool them in cold water, remove the bones and excess fat, and tear them into small pieces. Then turn the heat up to high and continue cooking.

15.14. Then put the mutton into small pieces back into the pot, stir and cook over high heat for about 3 minutes. Then add salt and pepper, sprinkle some chopped green onions on top, and you’re done! (Don’t chop the onions until the very end)

16.15. Eat with rye bread. Of course, it would be best if you can buy Irish rye bread similar to baguette from a bakery.
