How to make additive-free yuba at home

1. After selecting the soybeans, soak them in water overnight, then rinse them several times with water. Grind the beans into a pulp with water.

3.2 Then put it into the cup with the gauze bag, slowly lift it up and squeeze out the soy juice. It takes from 2pm to 3:30pm just to extract the juice from a pound of beans.

4.1 When there is a layer of membrane on the surface of the soy milk and wrinkles appear, use chopsticks to pinch both sides of the membrane and lift it up. Do it quickly and don't let it fall into the pot, otherwise it will be wasted and you can only eat it on the spot or throw it away. It takes about five minutes to make a piece of yuba, so the cost is not high, but it requires patience and time. You must watch the heat and observe the progress of the bean film. Excluding the time for getting the soy milk, just making the yuba took from 3:30 to 6:30. The total time is about half a day. Moreover, you can’t make many yuba from a pound of beans, and not all bean juice can be made into yuba. The food gets worse and worse as it goes down, and both the appearance and taste are no longer suitable.

5.2 Pour the soy milk into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn down to the lowest heat. When big bubbles stop appearing, adjust the heat to an appropriate level until no bubbles appear. Remember to remove the foam on top after opening.

6. Wait for about ten minutes after the soy milk boils. If you like soy milk, you can drink a little bit of it. It tastes really good, and it tastes just like the soy milk made from tofu shops when I was a child. It cannot be compared with soy milk machines, which are far better than soy milk machines. After drinking this, I feel my skin has become whiter. My sister has fine skin because she likes to eat this kind of food. I will make this kind of soy milk often in the future, and I hope my skin will become whiter and whiter!

7. All the bean curd sheets made from a pound of beans are here. Since my pot is small, I can only make these mini bean curd sheets. I couldn’t find anything to dry them, so I came up with this idea. But it’s a good thing. You can put the lid on and let it dry in a ventilated place to prevent mice from stealing the food! It smells so good during the making process, I even want to secretly eat some! There is nothing added except soybeans and water, safe and healthy! If I have to say what I added, it would probably be my thoughtfulness. I hope to do my best to ensure that my family can eat safe food and live a happy and healthy life!

8. Then I put it in a bamboo basket and exposed it to the sun. This is what it looks like after drying. When you want to eat it, soak it in cold water and you can cook it. Put the leftovers in the refrigerator, as there are no additives and they may go bad easily!

It is not difficult to make a dish of additive-free yuba at home. The difficult part is whether you have the perseverance. In fact, as long as you can thoroughly understand the methods and steps mentioned above, and persist, the "results" will appear immediately.
