1. Cut the onion into rings and marinate with salt and pepper for ten minutes.

3. Peel the shrimps, remove their legs, leaving only the tails, and marinate with salt and pepper for ten minutes.

4. Gently cut the shrimp's back and pick out the shrimp intestines.

5. The first way to cut shrimp: gently cut a few times from the belly of the shrimp and straighten the shrimp body. Be careful not to cut it off!

6. The second cutting method: cut from the belly of the shrimp, do not cut it off, and then push the shrimp meat apart. This method requires a deeper cut than the first method.

7. The third method: It is more difficult and is explained in several pictures. First, pierce a hole close to the head.

8. Then pass the shrimp tail through, apply a little force, and pull it all the way out.

9. Then stuff the shrimp tail into the circle you just made and pull it out.

10. It should look like this when it’s done. It will look like a hammer when fried, and it will look even more beautiful if the shrimp tail is fanned out. Practice makes perfect, it’s not difficult, just try more!

11. Dip shrimp/fish fillets/onions in starch and tap off the excess.

12. Dip in egg paste.

13. Cover the surface with breadcrumbs, add 70% to 80% hot oil, and fry on medium-low heat until golden brown!
