Basil Mushroom Rice Sauce

Material

My life is busy, so when I’m alone I prefer to mix rice, noodles, and a few side dishes together and I can finish it all by myself. No need to wash a lot of dishes.

This sauce is suitable for single office workers. After making the sauce, keep it in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. This way, even if you get home late, you don’t have to spend a lot of time to prepare it.

Main ingredients: basil, mushrooms (about 9 fresh mushrooms), shredded pork, shredded bamboo shoots (canned from supermarkets), crispy black fungus (sweetened pickles)

Accessories: Liubiju bean paste, dark soy sauce, Shaoxing rice wine, cane sugar, chopped green onion

practice

1. Slice the mushrooms and wash them; take the basil leaves and wash them.

2. After the oil pan is heated up, add a little oil, pour in the chopped green onion over high heat and stir-fry until fragrant, then pour in the shredded pork and stir-fry until half cooked.

3. Pour in mushrooms, dark soy sauce, cooking wine, and sugar. If possible, you can add broth (I added beef broth). If there is no broth, you can directly add water.

4. Continue cooking over medium heat until the mushrooms are well-seasoned (you see the mushrooms shrink), add Liubiju bean paste, bamboo shoots, crispy black fungus, and basil, and cook over high heat, stirring constantly until the soup becomes thicker and then turn off the heat.

5. Then put it into a microwave-safe bowl and set aside.

Note: The soup should be more suitable for mixing rice and noodles. If you use it as a stir-fry, you can use less soup.

This dish is very suitable for working professionals who are afraid of the trouble of cooking all the time in the summer. You can cook it in advance and if you have cold rice or instant noodles at home, you can just put it in the microwave and eat it. Wow, great, I added it to the noodles. Nutritious and healthy :)

The taste is spicy, if you don’t like spicy food, you can just add Liubiju bean paste.
