How to make bread in an ordinary rice cooker

Bread is becoming more and more accepted by the public. It is a food introduced from the West to China. It can be eaten as three meals a day, but we usually eat it in the morning. Bread does not have much nutritional value, but it is more filling, and it is very cheap and convenient to buy. However, some people still like to make it at home. They can use an electric rice cooker. So how do you make bread in an ordinary rice cooker?

Bread, also written as flour, is a food made by grinding grains (usually wheat) and heating them. Baked food is made from wheat flour as the main raw material, yeast, eggs, oil, sugar, salt and other auxiliary materials, and water is added to make the dough. The dough is then processed through processes such as dividing, shaping, proofing, baking and cooling.

Ingredients: three eggs, three full porcelain spoons of flour, milk, white sugar, a small spoon of starch, a small spoon of baking powder (it can make the cake rise better, but you can omit it if you don’t have it), and two large containers, make sure to wipe them dry. Mix flour, starch and baking powder evenly together and set aside.

1. First, separate the egg white and yolk into two containers for later use

2. Add two spoons of sugar and beat the egg yolks with a whisk.

3. Then add about two spoons of milk

4. Add half of the prepared flour and mix well. Be careful not to stir in circles. Use a spoon to stir up and down. The particles can be crushed with a spoon. After mixing into a fine batter, add milk and the remaining flour.

5. It must not be too thin, it should be more viscous

6. Then beat the egg whites. The utensil for beating the egg whites must be clean and free of water, otherwise it will be difficult to beat. First, add a spoonful of sugar to the egg whites and beat them continuously with a whisk. If you don’t have a whisk, you can use three chopsticks instead.

7. When the egg whites are beaten to this degree, add another spoonful of sugar. If you don’t like it too sweet, you can put less. Continue beating. It is very hard but also very important.

8. When beating, it feels hard and the whisk cannot be turned. It is very delicate and the egg white will not fall off when the container is inverted. The whole process takes about 15 minutes.

9. Add the beaten egg whites into the batter twice. Note that you should not stir in circles when mixing. Use a spoon to stir up and down until the batter and egg whites are evenly mixed. Then pour in the other half of the egg whites and mix evenly.

10. Then preheat the rice cooker, apply a thin layer of salad oil on the bottom and around the rice cooker to prevent the cake from sticking to the rice cooker wall when it comes out of the pan, then press the cooking button and let it pop up automatically, then you can pour in the batter

11. Pour the batter in and shake it left and right to spread the batter evenly in the rice cooker.

12. Press the cook button on the rice cooker, it will automatically pop up to keep warm in about two minutes. Ignore it and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Press the cook button again, it will pop up again in about one or two minutes, and simmer for another 15-20 minutes and it is ready to be served. If you make a large quantity, you can press the button again and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

13. OK, the delicious cake is ready. You can slowly enjoy the fruits of your labor.
