It is also very simple to steam rice in a pressure cooker. First, you need to prepare the rice. The rice needs to be washed clean, put the rice in the pot, add appropriate amount of water, cover the pot, boil it over high heat and it can be eaten. How to steam rice in a pressure cooker? It takes about half an hour to cook rice in a pressure cooker. Generally, the heat can be turned off after 12-15 minutes for three people and the rice should be kept warm for 15 minutes. Pressure cooker rice steaming process: 1. For a new pot that has not been used, the sealing ring is more elastic, that is, add a small amount of cooking oil on the top and bottom of the pot body to facilitate the initial opening and closing. The lid, pot body and handle should be cleaned before each use to facilitate closing the lid. 2. First, take an appropriate amount of rice, grab it twice with your hands, and wash it clean. Generally, wash it twice. 3. Then pour the rice into the pressure cooker and add appropriate amount of water. 4. Then cover the pot and cook the rice over high heat. Wait until the valve of the pressure cooker makes a hissing sound and then turn down the heat. 5. Cook on low heat for about 10 minutes and it will be cooked. When the steam is released, serve the rice. Instructions for using a pressure cooker: 1. Before each use, carefully check whether the exhaust hole of the pressure limiting valve is unobstructed (it can be cleared with a toothpick) and keep the anti-blocking cover clean. 2. Do not fill the pot too full with food. Generally, the amount of food should not exceed four-fifths of the height of the pot. For foods that expand easily (such as kelp, mung beans, corn, etc.), the amount of food should not exceed half of the pot. 3. When closing the lid, align the closing marks on the lid and the pot body and make sure they fit completely. Stop when it is in place, don't use excessive force to over-tighten it. 4. After closing the cover and heating, close the pressure limiting valve cover when a lot of steam is seen being discharged from the pressure limiting exhaust hole. 5. When the pressure limiting valve is working, reduce the fire power to keep the pressure valve moving slightly. 6. Before opening the cover, you must wait until the pressure is completely reduced, that is, the valve core of the protective device drops and resets before you can open the cover. Do not force the handle. 7. Generally, the safe service life of pressure cookers is stipulated not to exceed eight years. |
