4. It’s fine until all the moisture is absorbed by the flour. It may still look a little lumpy but it’s very moist. This recipe can bake two medium-sized loaves of bread. Ten minutes till now

12. Key step: Hold the dough as shown in the picture, and use the fingers below to push the dough downwards and inwards, almost bit by bit, wrapping it yourself, while turning the dough horizontally and pushing it gently. If you squeeze it too hard, it will be ugly =L=

13. If your hands are sticky, coat them with flour again and continue to wrap and push. Don't stretch it outwards, just turn the noodles downwards.

14. Turn until the top looks flat. Half a minute to a minute is enough.

15. Place on a board and let it rest for 40-60 minutes. The dough will expand during this time, so sprinkle flour all around. Before, the chopping board always stuck to my baking board every time, but it did not affect the final result. (You can’t afford to hurt those who are doing homework while letting the dough rest)

16. I used a pot as a baking tray because I didn’t have a thick bottom one at home. A regular baking pan is fine too (I’m just a bit pretentious). But when it comes to toast, a thick crust is better. Finding a pan that can go in the oven is perfect.

17. After it has risen for 20 to 30 minutes, put a pan in the oven and preheat it to 235℃ or 455℉. Place another baking tray under the pan to hold the water. After preheating (and the dough has risen), make a cross on the dough (if the cross is too rough, three lines will do, or five lines if you are deep enough), a deeper one. It doesn't matter if the dough deforms.

22. Put it on the skin and press it, and it will crackle! (Wrong) sound. Cut it to see the soft tissue~~ The bread should be warm before cutting, otherwise it will dry out easily. Get some good olive oil, grind some black pepper and sprinkle some salt, and dip it in bread. It is quite appetizing before the meal. I bring this with me at noon recently =u=+ and use it to wipe the dishes after dinner~~very pure wheat fragrance!
