How to make delicious seaweed

Seaweed is a very popular seafood and a food rich in nutrients. There are many ways to cook seaweed. It can be eaten cold, fried, or made into soup. Different cooking methods have different characteristics and flavors, which can satisfy the appetites and needs of different people. Below, I will introduce to you in detail the cooking methods of three foods: chilled seaweed, cold crystal algae and seaweed egg drop soup!

1. Icy Seaweed

1. Soak the seaweed in water for 2-3 hours to remove excess salt. Then blanch it in hot water, take it out and cool it in ice water, then drain it.

2. Add sugar, chicken essence, minced garlic (garlic powder), chili oil and sesame oil to the drained seaweed and mix well. Add as much sesame oil as possible. Refrigerate and sprinkle with a little sesame seeds when eating. If you have a food processor at home, you can make some smoothies to make them more refreshing.

Diet Tips

1. Seaweed contains a large amount of iodine which can significantly reduce the cholesterol content in the blood. Regular consumption is beneficial to maintaining the function of the cardiovascular system and making blood vessels elastic, thereby ensuring the normal supply of nutrition to the skin.

2. Seaweed is rich in methionine and cystine, which can prevent dry skin. Regular consumption can make dry skin shiny and improve oil secretion for oily skin.

3. Seaweed is rich in vitamins, which can maintain the healthy growth of epithelial tissue and reduce pigment spots.

2. Cold Crystal Algae

1. Soak the crystal algae in clean water for about 2 hours

2. Blanch the crystal algae in boiling water for a while

3. Remove from the water immediately and immerse in ice water

4. After cooling, remove from the water and add appropriate amount of white vinegar

5. Add appropriate amount of sugar

6. Add appropriate amount of salt and mix well

7. Sprinkle some white sesame seeds and mix well.

Cooking Tips

1. Soaking crystal algae is to remove the salt on the surface, otherwise it will be very salty.

2. The blanching time should not be too long, just a short while will be enough, otherwise the taste will be affected.

3. Soaking in ice water can make the taste more crispy and tender, or soaking in cold water can also be done.

4. If you prefer a stronger taste, you can add appropriate amount of pepper powder and sesame oil. However, I personally prefer the refreshing taste of sugar, vinegar and salt.

3. Seaweed Egg Drop Soup

1. Soak the seaweed and wash it

2. Boil water in a pot

3. Add seaweed after the water boils

4. Open it again and lay eggs

5. Mix well and add oil and salt

6. Remove from the pan
