1. Put all the ingredients except butter into the bread machine and knead the dough for 20 minutes. No matter which button you press, the bread machine will knead the dough first, but generally the bread machine will pause after working for 10 minutes. As long as you force shut down and restart it, the bread machine will continue to knead the dough for 10 minutes. If you don’t have a bread machine, ask your husband to knead the dough. It’s a good opportunity to exercise.

2. We found that the water content of making bread is often higher than that of making steamed buns, so if you knead the dough with your hands, you will find that it is very, very, very sticky (see that I used so many ", you really need to pay attention), but no matter what, you have to keep kneading. You can add flour when making steamed buns if there is too much water, but when making bread, as long as the ingredients are correct, never add flour. The more you knead the dough, the more gluten it will have, and the water will be slowly absorbed by the dough, making it less sticky, but it will still be a little sticky.

3. Knead the dough until it feels like a film, but it breaks easily.

9. Then divide it into 60g pieces, cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 minutes.

10. In these fifteen minutes, let's make the filling. Put some sesame and walnuts in the bowl.

11. Add a few spoonfuls of fried glutinous rice flour. The ratio of sesame walnut powder to glutinous rice flour is about 5:2.

16. Take a small piece of dough and stretch it. Because the bread dough has strong ductility, it can be stretched and is not easy to break. Use a rolling pin to roll it into a round shape.

17. Add the mixed sesame and walnut powder, the more the better, and press it with a spoon

18.Pinch and wrap the dough with the wrinkled side facing down, flatten it and put it in a pan. I made 8 pieces and used two pans.

19. Let the flattened dough ferment until it doubles in size, then turn on the fire and start frying. After one minute on high heat, immediately switch to the lowest heat and fry each side for 8 minutes.
