1. Wash the millet and soak it in water overnight.

2. Wash the rice dumplings leaves and soak them overnight.

3. Wash the red dates and soak them for 30 minutes.

4.Mix the soaked glutinous rice and millet.

5. Fold the rice dumplings leaves.

6. Add 2 spoons of rice and rock sugar.

7. Add 3 red dates.

8. Add two spoonfuls of rice again.

9. Cover with another layer of mushroom and glutinous rice mixture, keep the two ends of the rice leaf overlapping, fold it back to cover the glutinous rice, and make sure to press it firmly. 10. Finally, adjust the end of the rice dumpling leaf, cut off the excess part, and tie it tightly with cotton thread.

11. Add hot water into the pot, and make sure the water covers the rice dumplings! After boiling, keep the heat at medium-high for 1 hour, then turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour.

12. The cooked rice dumplings are quite hot, so it is best to take them out and let them dry before eating.

13. Peel one and try it while it’s still warm.
