5. Tip-end Zongzi: Rotate the Zongzi leaf into a funnel shape and continue to rotate so that the head and tail of the leaf overlap (pay attention to a trick here, it is best to fix the tail of the leaf and rotate the head of the leaf with your right hand so that the harder head of the branch is inside, so that it is tied more firmly)

6. After filling the rice, press down the leaves and tie them up.

7. The finished product is a flat rice dumpling.

8. Pattern: Flat Zongzi: Fix the leaf head, rotate the leaf tail, overlap the leaf head and tail. Here we can find that the flat type only needs to rotate 90 degrees to overlap, while the pointed type needs to overlap 180 degrees. After filling the rice, just cover the leaves and tie them up without leaking.

9. Start cooking over high heat. Because you have soaked rice with alkali before, don't add too much alkali to the boiling water now. Just add until the water turns yellow. Too much will make it bitter. If it is appropriate, it will be very fragrant. Cook for half an hour. Stir it with chopsticks in the middle.
