How to make multigrain glutinous rice chicken

1. Main ingredients: chicken legs and glutinous rice. (Glutinous rice should be soaked in advance)

2. Ingredients: lotus seeds, peanuts, kidney beans, dried mushrooms, and carrots. (Except for carrots, all ingredients should be soaked in advance. I soaked lotus seeds, peanuts, and kidney beans the night before, and mushrooms 1 hour in advance)

3. Wash and bone the chicken legs.

4. Cut the chicken into appropriate-sized cubes, put them into a bowl, and add 2 tablespoons of Dashida barbecue sauce.

5. Add other seasonings, mix well, and marinate for half an hour, stirring several times during the process. (During the pickling period, I added a little salt to the soaked lotus seeds, peanuts and kidney beans and cooked them in a pressure cooker for about half an hour, so that they are easier to cook when steamed)

6. Drain the cooked lotus seeds, peanuts and kidney beans and pour them into a slightly larger bowl, then add the marinated chicken.

7. Add appropriate amount of soaked glutinous rice. (Not too much, too much will turn it into chicken drumstick rice)

8. Stir well.

9. Use the cooked rice dumplings leaves to fold into a palm leaf cup.

10. Add the mixed glutinous rice and chicken ingredients.

11. After everything is assembled, add cold water into the pot and steam over high heat for about half an hour until cooked. Turn off the heat and let it simmer for a while. Open the lid and sprinkle some chopped green onions.

12. Steamed glutinous rice chicken.
