8. Add water, rock sugar, star anise and peppercorns and bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to medium heat

9. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes

10. Add bean curd and stir fry evenly

11. Simmer for about 10 minutes, add green pepper cubes and stir-fry.
