How to make new pregnant tofu

Cooking is a science and of course a skill. Only with a good method can we make delicious dishes. Today I will introduce to you a new way of making pregnant tofu that is both delicious and pleasing to the eyes!

1. Raw material picture: I forgot to take a picture of the kelp buckle, so I’ll add one.

2. Soak the kelp buttons in water, then rinse them repeatedly to remove the salt and set aside.

3. Wash the enoki mushrooms and set aside. Cut tofu into cubes.

4. Put oil in the pot. When the oil temperature reaches 60% hot, put in the tofu and fry until the surface is golden brown with a hard crust. Then take it out.

5. After taking out, let it cool until the surface becomes soft.

6. Take one side of the tofu and use scissors to cut it into a small square hole smaller than the tofu surface. Use a snack spoon to hollow out the tofu core.

7. Add soy sauce, cooking wine, chopped green onion and ginger, salt, MSG, sesame oil and cornstarch into the pork filling. Mix well.

8. Stuff the mixed meat filling into the tofu.

9. Fill the tofu with meat filling until it is level with the tofu.

10. Coat the tofu side with the filling exposed with cornstarch.

11. After sticking the cornstarch on the meat, leave it for 5 minutes to allow the meat filling and cornstarch to fully blend.

12. Keep heating the oil in the pan, put the tofu back into the oil and fry it until the sealed side of the tofu is firm.

13. How come you can’t tell there’s meat stuffing inside?

14. Steam the pumpkin, put it in a soy milk machine, add water and blend it into puree

15. Put pumpkin puree, water, oyster sauce, salt, MSG and tofu in the pot and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.

16. After 15 minutes, add enoki mushrooms and kelp buttons, cook for another 2 minutes, add sesame oil and serve.

17. The delicious pregnant tofu is ready. Isn’t it beautiful?

18. Because there is meat stuffing hidden inside the tofu, it is named (pregnant tofu). The fillings in the tofu can be determined according to your preferences.
