Therefore, as long as pregnant mothers do not eat too much, it is okay to eat a little at a time. It is best to remove the lotus seed core when eating. Of course, it is more recommended to cook fresh lotus seeds before eating. Tremella and Lotus Seed Soup

Ingredients: appropriate amounts of white fungus, lotus seeds, dates, wolfberries, and rock sugar.

4. Put white fungus, rock sugar (about 3 taels), dates, and wolfberries into cold water, turn on the fire, heat, and boil. Be sure to stir the pot constantly to prevent the white fungus gelatin from sticking to the pot. After boiling, turn down the heat and simmer, and stir the pot constantly.

5. Lotus seeds are easy to ripen, so add them later. After boiling, continue to cook until the Tremella gels and the soup becomes thick.

Efficacy: Nourishes yin and moistens the lungs, replenishes the spleen and calms the mind. It is suitable for symptoms such as restlessness and insomnia, dry cough with little sputum, dry mouth and throat, poor appetite and fatigue. Healthy people can eat it to eliminate fatigue, promote appetite and enhance physical fitness.

Lotus Seed Porridge

Ingredients: 1 cup of round glutinous rice, 150 grams of lotus seeds, 8 cups of water, 112 grams of rock sugar.

1. Wash the round glutinous rice, add 8 cups of water and soak for 20 minutes, transfer to the stove and bring to a boil, then simmer until the rice is cooked and soft.

2. Wash the lotus seeds, put them into the porridge and cook together with them, and add rock sugar for seasoning. When the rock sugar melts, turn off the heat and serve.

Note: Fresh lotus seeds are more fragrant and easier to cook, but they are seasonal; dried lotus seeds can be refrigerated longer, are not restricted by seasons, and are easy to buy. If you use dried lotus seeds, they will not be easy to cook after soaking in water, so just wash them and add them directly.
