How to make spicy lotus root slices

I always envy other people’s tables full of delicious food. So, here I will show you how to make spicy cold lotus root slices.

1. Soak the fungus in water

2. Cut carrots and lotus roots (peeled) into thin slices, tear the soaked black fungus into small pieces

3. Prepare seasonings: chili powder, dried red pepper, sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, sugar, pepper, peanut oil, etc.

4. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar and salt into sauce

5. Add water and a few drops of oil to the pot and bring to a boil. Add the above vegetables and cook until the lotus root slices are transparent.

6. Soak the cooked vegetables in ice water for 2-3 minutes

7. Put a little peanut oil in the pot, heat it up, add the peppercorns and stir-fry until cooked. Turn off the heat and wait for a while, then add the chili powder and dried red peppers to make the spicy oil.

8. Place the soaked vegetables on a plate.

9. Pour the above soup and spicy oil into the plate, stir well and serve.
