1. Cut off the ends of the edamame, wash them with water and place them in a colander.

2.1 Put fennel, bay leaves and sea salt in a pot. Please use your own discretion when choosing sea salt. Don’t use too much, otherwise it will be too salty.

3.2 Prepare this kind of sea salt, which tastes better and contains more trace elements.

4.1 Pour in the washed edamame, half cover the pot, and heat over low heat for about eight minutes. (Be careful not to turn up the heat too high and do not cover the pot completely, otherwise the edamame will turn yellow easily.)

5.2 Add half a bowl of water into the pot and heat until the salt is completely dissolved.

6. In fact, the edamame is basically cooked after eight minutes, and it is very easy to cook now. Open the lid of the pot and use chopsticks to pick out more bay leaves. Add appropriate amount of pepper and salt, stir-fry with a spatula until the water is basically dried up, add a small amount of white wine (don’t add too much white wine, otherwise it will be a bit bitter when stir-fried), then turn down the heat, add a small amount of MSG and serve.

7. Drizzle some sesame oil and mix well. It smells very fragrant!
