Authentic steak marinating method

In life, both adults and children like to eat steak very much. Steak is very valuable and has no bones, so it tastes very satisfying. However, the steak needs to be marinated before making it. After marinating, the steak will be more flavorful, silky and smooth in the mouth, and have high nutritional value.

Grilled Steak

Material

Butter, soy sauce, black pepper, onions, garlic slices, cooking wine, beef

1. Cut the beef into large slices about 6 mm thick. Be careful not to cut along the texture of the meat. Cut off the surrounding white fascia. Make several cuts on the white tendons in the middle of the meat, otherwise the meat will curl up and deform when fried. The surface of the meat can be loosened with a meat tenderizer. If you don't have any, you can hit it with the back of a knife or poke holes with a toothpick. I didn't have anything, so I just used a knife to make a few horizontal and vertical cuts on the meat.

2. Mix black pepper, soy sauce and cooking wine, then cut two slices of onion and garlic slices and mix them in. Refrigerate for two hours. No salt is needed at this time, otherwise the meat will become hard. Just add salt before frying.

3. Grease the pan with butter. If you don’t have butter, you can use salad oil. Heat the pan over high heat to quickly lock the moisture in the beef. Then reduce the heat and fry until it’s done to your liking.

Black Pepper Steak

Material

1 piece of beef, half an onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 small piece of butter, a pinch of black pepper

1. Cut the beef into pieces the size of half a palm (one piece for each of the four people in my family), and pound it loose with a glass bottle or meat hammer. I used a rolling pin, but it didn't have enough power and the beef wasn't pounded loose enough.

2. Sprinkle salt and black pepper powder on the meat, spread evenly on both sides, and marinate for one or two hours.

3. Chop garlic and onion.

4. Heat the pan with butter, wait for the oil to melt, place the steak, and fry over low heat until the doneness you want (I fried my steak a little rare)

5. Place the steak on a plate and use the remaining oil in the pan to sauté the chopped garlic and onion.

6. After frying the chopped onion until soft, add a bowl of water and bring to a boil, add a few drops of wine, then season with salt and black pepper powder, and slowly stir-fry until it becomes a thick sauce.

7. Pour the prepared black pepper sauce over the steak.

Black Pepper Grilled Steak

Material

2 steaks, 15g black pepper, 5g five-spice powder, 30ml oyster sauce, 8g sugar, 15ml soy sauce, 2 onions, 5 tomatoes

1. Wash the steak and pat it lightly with the back of a knife. Then add black pepper, oyster sauce, five-spice powder, sugar, and soy sauce. Marinate for 2 hours. It is best to put it in the refrigerator overnight so that it tastes better.

2. Turn the steak over several times during the cooking process, then add onion slices and marinate for another hour before putting it into the oven.

3. Apply a thin layer of oil on the baking tray, put the marinated onions on the bottom, put the steak on it, and then add the chopped tomatoes.

4. Put it in the oven and bake at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.

Tips

1. This steak can also be fried in a frying pan, with a layer of onion slices on the bottom, and it tastes just as good. Put a few tomatoes on the top layer. After heating, the sweet and sour juice of the tomatoes will penetrate into the beef, which will naturally help to relieve the greasiness. If you like sweet and sour taste, you can also add a spoonful (15ml) of tomato sauce when marinating the steak.

2. You can also add potato slices to the bottom of the side dish. The beef and onion soup will be absorbed by the potatoes and it will taste great.
