You can use different ingredients to make soup with pork belly, such as daylily, wolfberry, figs, etc., which is both delicious and effective.

1. Stewed pork with daylily and wolfberry

Daylily is a traditional vegetable that people love to eat. It has high nutritional value and is regarded as a "treasure on the table." Pork belly is tender and delicious, very suitable for making soup. Wolfberry can improve eyesight, nourish the skin and strengthen the body. It can not only be drunk by soaking in water, but also used for making porridge, stewing soup, etc. Drinking it regularly can prolong life. It is a good tonic suitable for everyone. Adding these three ingredients with nutritional benefits together to make a soup can help eliminate autumn irritability, insomnia, etc.

Ingredients

Main ingredients: 250g pork belly, auxiliary ingredients: salt, day lily, wolfberry, cooking wine, ginger

1. Wash wolfberry and day lily, soak them in clean water; 2. Soak pork belly in blood-clearing water, wash and cut into small pieces; 3. Boil in cold water, remove from the pot and wash; 4. Prepare ginger slices; 5. Wash the soaked day lily repeatedly with clean water, squeeze and clean it, and cut off the roots; 6. Then tie it into a knot; 7. Bring the water in the pot to a boil, then pour in the soup, scoop it out and put it into the stewing pot; 8. Pour the clean water for making soup into the pot, add the pork and appropriate amount of cooking wine after the water boils; 9. Add salt to taste and turn off the heat; 10. Pour into the stewing pot; 11. Add ginger slices; 12. Turn on the power and stew for 2 hours; 13. Then open it and add wolfberry.

Tips

1. This soup is light and delicious, with its original flavor. I didn’t add chicken essence, but you can add it if you want.

2. The golden needles must be soaked and then washed repeatedly to remove all the sour taste, otherwise the soup will taste sour.

3. It is not advisable to eat day lily during the period of cold, cough and asthma, otherwise it will aggravate the condition.

2. Cantonese-style soup - fig and pork soup

Figs are sweet, neutral and non-toxic. It has the effects of strengthening the spleen, nourishing and moistening the intestines. It is used for indigestion, loss of appetite, yin deficiency cough, dry cough without sputum, sore throat, etc.

Ingredients

500g-600g pork belly, 5-6 figs, 1 carrot, 3 slices of ginger, some wolfberry, some dried longan, 2 codonopsis roots, 5 red dates, 2kg water (for 4 people)

1. Prepare all the ingredients. I prepared four servings. The ingredients can be adjusted according to the number of people eating.

2. Blanch the pork belly in boiling water, but it doesn’t take too long!

3. Cut the figs in half, remove the pits from the red dates, cut the codonopsis, and soak the longans and wolfberries in water until soft (optional).

4. Prepare the soup pot, put all the ingredients into the pot, add water, boil over high heat, then turn to medium heat and simmer for about an hour and a half.

Tips

If you like corn, you can put it in.

It is especially suitable for women, and can also be used to treat habitual constipation caused by insufficient yin blood and dry intestines.

Material

60 grams of hemp seed, 9 grams of angelica, 5 candied dates, 300-400 grams of pork belly, and 2-3 slices of ginger.

Wash hemp seeds, angelica, and candied dates, and soak them for a while; wash the pork belly, and do not cut it into pieces with a knife. Then put them together with ginger into a clay pot, add 1000 ml of water (about 8 bowls of water), boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for about two hours, then add appropriate amount of salt and cooking oil. This amount is enough for 2 to 3 people. The pork meat can be omitted when used for beauty and detoxification.
