When can babies drink pure milk?

Babies should develop a good lifestyle and eating habits from an early age, especially they should have more snacks in their diet. Parents should pay more attention to their children's eating habits. From four months onwards, they can add some baby food appropriately. Baby food must be light in taste and nutritious, and they should be given food that is easily digested. So, when can the baby drink milk?

Babies should try not to drink pure milk within six months, because pure milk contains a lot of protein and minerals, but the complex fatty acids and nutrients are relatively low in water, and are therefore not easily digested by the baby's tender stomach. Therefore, if a child is exposed to pure milk too early, it is very likely to cause indigestion and other symptoms. In addition, pure milk is likely to cause symptoms such as milk protein allergy. Therefore, it is not recommended to feed it to the baby too early. After the child is six months old, the gastrointestinal function has almost fully developed, and the child's digestion ability is relatively good. Eating pure milk in small amounts will not cause direct effects.

When giving children pure milk, you must eat small meals frequently, start with one spoon, and then observe the child's performance after drinking the pure milk. If there are no allergic symptoms, you can slowly increase the amount of consumption. You can often use milk to cook cereal porridge for the child. If there are allergic symptoms, you should immediately stop consuming pure milk, and dairy products and other things that are easy to cause skin allergies are best not to be given to children at will, so as not to cause adverse effects on the child's physical growth and development. Usually, you should ensure that the child's diet is light and non-irritating, and do not eat too much food that is not good for children.

As long as parents help their children to drink milk properly, they can reduce the harm and impact on their children. Children should usually eat some baby food suitable for their age group. Some foods that exceed their age group should not be given to children, especially some cold and spicy foods and overly greasy foods, so as not to affect the growth and development of children's body and cause adverse effects on their health.
